We need to decide how we want these zones to work in FFA/Tags so that I can finish coding the zones properly for those duels.

In 4 way, just put 4 zones in the middle. Tag, two/three zones for each side, pretty much just double the layout. 6 way, uh... 6 in the middle?

The trick will be lining up the actual linked zones with wherever you put them, but if that's handled automatically by you, it's not so big a deal. For a FFA, a North-South-East-West kind of deal in the middle is probably the best way to do it.

Does anyone actually get any use out of 6-person FFA?

The Extra Zones line up with associated monster zones. I can make it basically work so that you compete for zones with the player directly across from you but is that how we want to do it?

I mean, you could technically take one of the other FFA zones, so that none of the linked zones line up with your field...but since the Link monsters are all about opening up your own field for your extra deck, even in a FFA you've only got so many "good" choices.

You could give everyone two zones each to work with, but they can only use one of the zones. Also, if they were to control a link monster who has arrows that would normally point at an opponent (like Decode Talker), you would simply designate which opponent that is going to apply to.

That, or have the zones apply for the person directly across from them for the Link mechanic.
