- Each player starts with 4000 LP

- Opening Draw should be decided based on the Series your character is from. Arc V Characters draw 5 And DO NOT draw an additional Card at the Draw Phase if they begin the duel. If an Arc V Character wins the Dice Roll, the duel will proceed using Arc V opening rules.

-Monsters can be placed in Face-up Defense position VIA Normal summon.

- Banned cards ARE allowed but ONLY if the cards were used by that Character in the Anime/Movie/OVA/Manga and only in the Quantity that was revealed. (Duel will take place Underground)

-You may use anime effects, but it is ALL OR NOTHING. You cannot choose to use the TCG/OCG effect on some cards and use anime effects on cards that are most favorable. You MUST provide a link to the anime effect if you choose to use it.

Destiny Draw
To further harness the spirit of the Yu-Gi-Oh anime series, a Destiny Draw mechanic has been implemented.
-You are allowed 1 Destiny Draw per duel after at least 5 Turns have passed.
-Your Life Points must be lower than your opponents
-Your Life Points must be equal to or less than 1000
-When initiating a Destiny Draw, you are allowed to banish ANY monster card face down at the start of your Draw Phase. Add the face down card to your hand, rather than drawing normally. Spells and Trap cards ARE allowed as long as they do not directly disrupt your opponents field THAT turn.

- You may NOT have multiple copies of a card UNLESS:
1. The character in question has been confirmed to run multiple copies of the card(s) in question
2. The character in question does not have enough cards to complete a full 40 card deck without running multiple copies.

The same applies to extra decks. You may NOT run more than one copy of a card in the extra deck if the character has not been confirmed to have multiple copies.

Tagforce decklists and Themed decklists are not 'Character' decks. All cards you place into your character deck must have been used VIA Anime/OVA/Movie/Manga by that Character. There are no exceptions

If you are unsure if whether or not your deck is Legal by these standards:
A great resource for deck information. Be prepared to show a source if your card choices are questionable.

I actually like this.

End of first episode of Arc V should have gone like this -- "Wait, did you just summon a bunch of monsters in 1 turn?" "Yeah, so?" "Well, isn't that against the rules?" "SCREW THE RULES I MAKE UP CARD MECHANICS WITH MY PENDANT"

There needs to be a rule about limits to generic draw spells, storm, and the like. Lots of characters are gonna have access to multiple power spells with the current rules
